Infants and children up to the age of seven years old are baptized according to the Rite of Baptism for Children. Parents are encouraged to have their children baptized in the first few months of life. Children who are seven years and older and have not yet been baptized must receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) according to the Rite of Christian Initiation (adapted) for Children.
